Jayapura Kodim and PT Sinar Mas provide assistance to flood victims
Kodim 1701/Jayapura together with Sinar Mas provided assistance in the form of basic necessities to residents of the flood victims in Wai Mhorock Village
The handover of aid was symbolically given in two locations by the Pastor of Kodim 1701/Jayapura, Major Inf. Edi Triwanto and Representative of Sinar Mas Yansen. Pastor of Kodim 1701/Jayapura, Major Inf. Edi Triwanto, said that the assistance provided was a collaboration between Kodim 1701/Jayapura and PT Sinar Mas as a form of concern for victims of flood natural disasters. Pasiter explained that Kodim 1701/Jayapura together with Sinar Mas provided basic food assistance in the form of rice, eggs, instant noodles, cooking oil, biscuits and sugar to the community at several points in the Wai Mhorock sub-district. "We give it to each of the elders at every point which will later be distributed evenly," he said. Meanwhile, Dandim 1701/Jayapura Lt. Col. Richard Arnold Y. Sangari said the collaboration with PT Sinar Mas was a joint effort to help lighten the burden on the people who are currently reviving after being hit by a flood disaster.
